Dietary fiber intake provides many health benefits. Fiber supplementation in overweight individuals significantly enhances weight loss. The role of fiber in energy intake regulation and weight gain is related to its unique physical and chemical properties that aid in early signals of satiation and enhanced or prolonged signals of satiety.

FAVAO Fiber contains a blend of psyllium husk powder, oat fiber, inulin (FOS), oat bran, mangosteen peel powder, l. acidophilus, l. rhamnosus, b. fifidum, and b. longum. Together they support healthy digestion by giving efficacious doses of soluble fiber, insoluble fiber, prebiotics and probiotics. See Ingredients for more details.

KEY INGREDIENTS:

Mangosteen peel powder: Garcinia mangostana is cultivated in the tropical rainforests of some Southeast Asia. Locals have used the pericarp (the peel) of mangosteen as a traditional preparation to address a number of health issues.

Psyllium husk powder: psyllium is an excellent dietary source for both soluble and insoluble fibers and has been used in supplemental and food products for its beneficial health effects.

Oat fiber and oat bran: Soluble fiber has been shown to help support a healthy digestive system.

Inulin (FOS): FOS have important beneficial physiological effects such as low carcinogenicity, a prebiotic effect, improved mineral absorption and supports cholesterol, triacylglycerol and phospholipid levels already within normal range.* FOS enhances the effect of probiotic microorganisms in the large intestine.

Probiotics (l. acidophilus, l. rhamnosus, b. fifidum, and b. longum): These microorganisms—the “good” bacteria needed to be healthy—may help with digestion.
